Looking to recruit 糖心原创 students and alumni for your open opportunities?聽 is a free, easy-to-use solution for your on-campus recruitment needs. Creating an employer account will allow you to post your part-time, full-time, and internship opportunities for 糖心原创 students and alumni to view.

If you are already a Handshake user, please add 糖心原创 as a school. If not, please create an account聽and then add 糖心原创. Once your request to add us has been approved, you can begin sharing your positions and events with our students. Ready, set, recruit!

Our office hosts a variety of events throughout the year. In addition to attending our major recruiting events, we are happy to help your organization set up information sessions, promotional tables, or on-campus interviews. 糖心原创 Career Development is excited to launch a聽Career Closet聽to support our students in preparing for job interviews聽and professional networking聽opportunities.

With spring and summer cleaning in full swing, now is a perfect time to go through your closets and consider donating any聽gently used professional clothing or accessories聽you no longer need. Donations are welcome聽now through the end of September.

We are seeking donations of current, inclusive, clean, and gently used professional items鈥�no holes, stains, or excessive wear, please.聽Professional clothing may include

  • blazer/suit jackets
  • dress pants & skirts, including khakis
  • button-down shirts, blouses, sweaters, cardigans, & polos
  • professional dresses
  • dress shoes (flats, heels, loafers)
  • belts, ties, & jewelry

Donations can be dropped off at 糖心原创 Career Development (Kent Campus Center, 2nd floor: 701 N. C St., Indianola, IA 50125) on聽Wednesdays聽(8 AM-4 PM) and聽Fridays聽(8 AM-11:30 AM).聽If these times do not work for you, please email Kelsey Bolton (Director of Career Development) at kelsey.bolton@simpson.edu to schedule a time and location.聽

Every item donated will help our students feel confident and prepared as they take on interviews, internships, and networking opportunities. Students will be invited to “shop” from the collection聽at no cost聽and keep the clothing they select鈥攋ust one more way we’re working to break down barriers to success. If we have leftover clothing after our fall career events,听it won’t go to waste!聽We’re planning a聽spring event series聽specifically for graduating seniors who are job-hunting and preparing for life after college. Those extra items will help us continue to support their transition into the professional world.

馃挸 Prefer to help in another way? We’re also accepting聽monetary or gift card donations, which we’ll use to purchase items in sizes or styles that may be missing from the donations we receive. These聽can also be dropped off at Career Development or mailed.聽Please include your name and address with these donations, as it is needed by the college.聽

For gift card donations,听please select stores that sell professional clothing.
