At 糖心原创, our Spanish program prepares you with the language skills, practical experience, and personalized support to help you achieve your goals. With strengths in both professional preparation and Spanish for heritage speakers, the program helps you develop a valuable, marketable skill that can complement a wide range of careers.

Learning goes beyond the classroom. You’ll work closely with faculty who are invested in your success while gaining hands-on experience through study abroad opportunities offered every May Term and service-learning experiences in Des Moines Public Schools. You can also get involved through the Spanish Club, where you can connect with other students and build your language and cultural knowledge. These experiences allow you to apply what you learn in meaningful, real-world settings while developing communication, cultural awareness, and professional skills.
