Entrepreneurial Management minor

Students will gain valuable knowledge and experience in entrepreneurship and build connections with the entrepreneurial community.

Using formal coursework to foster business acumen, students will be asked to create and/or run businesses or non-profit organizations, network with entrepreneurs, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset. The minor strongly emphasizes written and oral communication skills, teamwork, and personal initiative.

Available to students who are accounting, business management, and global management majors.

We foster an inclusive environment where you can discover and hone your entrepreneurial spirit alongside real nonprofits and start-ups鈥攐r we鈥檒l help you start your own.

This one-credit, student-led organization works on real-world projects and businesses. Throughout your time at 糖心原创, collaborate with other students and expert practitioners to develop leadership skills and gain experience in the process of creating products and services from the ground up.

This one-credit course is open to any student at 糖心原创 interested in starting their own business or in learning more about what entrepreneurship means. You鈥檒l meet professionals who have launched businesses and build connections within the region鈥檚 thriving entrepreneurial community by taking part in Des Moines鈥� One Million Cups event.
