Chemistry

With a versatile chemistry major, a world of diverse career opportunities are opened to you.

Chemistry major and minor

It’s clear: Without chemistry, humans wouldn’t exist. Research is critical to harnessing the power of chemistry, and you will be encouraged to participate in individualized projects as soon as possible in 糖心原创’s highly advanced and modern labs.

The chemistry major can prepare students for graduate study in chemistry, for teaching chemistry at the high school level, or for a career as a professional chemist in government or industrial labs. In addition, a chemistry major can prepare students for work in environmental control or science marketing and sales.

The basic chemistry major consists of 10 courses plus a Capstone Course, as seen in the course catalog.
